Welcome to India Economy & Business Analysis portal. The portal has been founded by an IIT Roorkee – IIM Calcutta alumnus with over two decades of experience across research and industry. It is a content library providing simplified, yet engaging and insightful analysis of current economic & business affairs and help readers build a perspective on these issues. The portal has receveid subscription from IIM Ahmedabad and has also recevied approval for renewal of the same. The portal was selected in the first round of startup contest, “Smart fifty”, sponsored by the Government of India.
The portal would be of particular relevance to young professionals especially, those in the field of management, banking, economics. It would also help those trying to get into any of these by enhancing their understanding of key economic/Corporate developments. It would also be of great help to all non-finance professionals. This would not only help them in their job interviews but also in all macro/ business related discussions and help them carve a niche for themselves in an increasing knowledge driven workplace. he endeavor is to keep the stories simple and focus on broad trends/insights rather than focusing on exact numbers.
The portal also attempts to delve on corporate failures and decisions gone wrong. As Former President, Late APJ Abdul Kalam had said, “Don’t read success stories, you will only get a message. Read failure stories, you will get some ideas to get success”. Further, as former President Pranab Mukherjee said, “Adjunct faculty from the industry and research institutions can provide practical orientation to course modules”. There is a need to understand the practical aspects of business and policy decision making. The portal is an attempt towards this, leveraging founder’s experince of over two decades across industry & research.
The views/ opinions expressed are personal and may not be in agreement with other views. The sole objective of the website is to help students/ other beginners develop understanding of the economic/ business environment. However, if there are factual errors, I would be happy to correct it.
